Love Africa has a vision to mobilise the local church to help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and to support those who have been affected by it.
Love Africa is our response to God’s call to bring Christian hope to widows, orphans and vulnerable children livingwith HIV/AIDS.
Through our five church partner programmes in Uganda we have been able to equip local Churches and the ACET Centre for Good Practice to make a lasting difference to hundreds of families. Love Africa has a vision to mobilise the local church to help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and to support those who have been affected by it.
Our relationships with our Love Africa partners have already grown deep in trust and love. Many people from St James have prayed, participated and given to Love Africa and it has already began to change our life as the church.
We need to commit funds to the next set of three year proposals from our Love Africa partners so this work can continue.
Imagine… a time when the spiritual poverty of the UK is blessed by the deep faith and trust of African Christians and when the physical poverty of Africa is finally alleviated by the prayerful and responsible generosity of the UK church. Imagine a time when HIV/AIDS is not cre-ating orphans and widows and God gets all the glory.
