Mission Context III – Mission-shaped partners: UK and worldwide

At the two St James we can partner with transformational mission partners in projects that will catapult them into the next phase of their kingdom work.

The 21st century mission context is different for every church in every country and neighbourhood. Most churches, even in
the UK, have only the scarcest of resources, yet they remain the hope of their local communities.

At the two St James we can partner with others in something that will catapult them into the next phase of their kingdom work. During the next two years we are going to prayerfully discern where those programmes and projects may be.

We believe that God will move us eventually to plant a new church or begin a significant new kingdom initiative in the UK.

As part of Mission context III we will therefore set up a fund that will launch such an initiative. With this fund we will be saying to God: “Here we are, Lord, send us.” That is a bold and radical prayer with an accompanying step of faith.

Imagine…the joy and privilege of being able to be God’s “YES” to new mission initiatives for a selection of partners to whom God will lead us in prayer. Imagine the power and potential that would otherwise have remained only a dream.
Imagine the joy of sending members of the St James Church family to plant a new church or lead a new initiative in the UK, fully equipped for the task.
