After some months of prayer, reflection and discussion our first pledge day took place on Sunday May 9th. Many families, couples and individuals have already made pledges and some have even given funds already.
As of Thursday June 3rd £820,000 has been given or pledged. This is humbling, exciting and faith building for all of us. It gives us such a sense of God’s hand being on this threefold mission initiative that is EQUIPSJ.
Behind the scenes various groups are already starting to meet to work on details such as re-location during re-ordering work, seeking out transformational mission partners and developments for Love Africa. We thank God for the way in which he has already touched many hearts and we continue to pray that each and every member of the two St James will be able to participate in EQUIPSJ.
