The Faculty has been submitted to the Diocese and we hope to hear soon if it has been approved.  Once we have approval we can start to brief contractors.  The re-location group that is looking at where we will have our Sunday worship during the building work currently is refining the options.

Context II – Love Africa

The Love Africa Steering Group is working with ACET and Tearfund to establish parameters for new proposals on all our Love Africa partner projects.  We hope it will take us to the next level of commitment, relationship and effectiveness in the battle against HIV/AIDS.

Context III – Transformational Mission Partners

The group responsible will shortly be sending out an invitation letter to a range of core missions and other mission partners.  If you know of a transformational mission activity that may be interested in applying for some funding do let the church office know.

The Love Africa Steering group is working closely with ACET and Tearfund to establish clear parameters for new proposals on all our Love Africa partner projects. This is painstaking work and we hope it will take us to the next level of commitment, relationship and effectiveness in the battle against HIV/AIDS.

As of Thursday June 3rd £820,000 has been given or pledged. This is humbling, exciting and faith building for all of us. It gives us such a sense of God’s hand being on this threefold mission initiative that is EQUIPSJ.

Behind the scenes various groups are already starting to meet to work on details such as re-location during re-ordering work, seeking out transformational mission partners and developments for Love Africa.
